Downloaded Classic Client does not read the "Desktop" folder ?

I had a computer crash and had to do a quick classic client download on a laptop which was installed into an "Ultima Online Classic" folder under an "Electronics Arts" folder.

I copied my entire "desktop" folder from the crashed computer HD wit alla macros and copied it into the newly downloaded and installed "Ultima Online Classic" folder.

Well, when I launch the classic client from the laptop the cliant loads but it does not read any of the desktop settings which I had.

Does the folder need to have a different name or location to be read ?
