Europa crashing....

Suddenly fell over, was missing from the server list for almost 15 minutes, came back up - and almost immediately fell over again...

Not great on a Saturday evening for Europeans, with an EM event due in 90 minutes.... any hints if we should try again or give up for the night?

Well it came back for the second time - and lasted maybe a minute, and fell over again...

I'm assuming it's not going to be stable enough to do much today

Before the server began crashing, the town crier in Brit had this announcement for the EM event :

Tara: The Time Lord awaits you, Saturday the 28th of September at 19:30 BST/GMT the EM hall!

Since the crashing began, they now say this ...

Tara: The Time Lord awaits you, Saturday the 82th of September at 19:30 BST/GMT the EM hall!

OK... Mesanna's made global announcements the server will be brought down, she promised to give what warning she can, and Borbarad appeared in general to say tonight's event is postponed for technical issues - so thanks to both for keeping us informed, and I hope the problems are fixed quickly!

UO's version of Fizzbin: you get an EM, unless it's dark, in which case you give the EM back. Every player gets six drops that combine to make an item, except for the one on the EM's right, who gets seven...

Ah... So it is likely that a duper did this. Character transfer, crash original shard, and boom, you now have two times the stuff.
