We have NO EM still..

We haven't had an EM for like 6-7 months now..

We're still borrowing an EM from Drachenfels..

Someone please explain why Europa is being left in the dark here? The wait is getting how shall I put this? Aggravating.. I can only wait for so long for something to happen and if something doesn't happen soon I am gonna give up this governor thing, I have better/other things to do than wait around for something to happen..

Indeed!. Information does seem to be rather scarce. You would have thought by now we would have at least heard something. Without sustenance optimism is hard to maintain.

I agree that it is very frustrating but while you are waiting, hold a few events, write some stories or do something fun to make the time pass.

And from what I hear Europa has the largest concentration of RP'ers too. I volunteer to be EM!

Sadly, this is not the case anymore, this is very few roleplayers left actually, a lot of them just don't login, let their accounts close, moved on and so forth and at the same time the RP community failed to expand or centralize.. I run a RP guild out of Skara Brae and its hard enough to host events due to the lack of roleplayers, interest and support.. Unless a big prize is waiting at the end of an event, non-roleplayers don't take much interest..

The lack of an active EM to interact with (I understand that Boro is too busy juggling two shards) is really one of the main reasons why I became so disillusioned with UO and reluctant to log in, as I feel our shard is pretty much doomed in the long term and any effort I spent on it right now is just going to be a waste of my time.

I hope this situation is resolved soon and the whole shard gets some interesting multi-year cumulative events that carry over (such as royal guard investigator program).

And do what with it? Leave my 3 homes behind, my entire guild, the roleplaying community where on other shards there is none and a player town I help run?
