I'm not sure how hard it would be, but I have noticed several times how hard it is to logout of the game at times. I will usually check my soulstone to make sure I'm not still a combatant and when I'm clear I will logout... only to have it say that I am still logged in even though I'm within my house.
I propose a few new lines to the logout code:
Perhaps even make it so the logout screen changes slightly to reflect if you are logging out correctly as well. Have the current logout screen if all is good and a new one saying that they are not in a safe zone and all that rubbish.
It's really just a pet peeve about the game, but it's always been a rather obnoxious one.
I propose a few new lines to the logout code:
- If the player is in a player house (even if it's not theirs) they may log out immediately. Check to see if they are in a house on logout, not just if they have triggered the "Safe to Logout Zone" that seems to be in them.
- If the player is within 10 spaces of an innkeeper (same as above)
- If a player is within 5 spaces of a campfire (same as above)
- If a player is a ghost (same as above)
