1 - IDOC: Someone either did not pay their account (and did not have the forethought to put the stones in the bank) or they got banned. - neither are smart decision
2 - Friend or Co-Owner snags them: again not a smart decision as you should not let someone else (no matter how close you are to them) have access to anything that you are not fully prepared to never see again. This holds true in rl just as it does in game.
3 - bag left hidden at the inn:
'nuff said.
Well, all three of those things have a root cause. Stupidity imo. If you are going to not pay your account and leave your soulstones at risk, if you are going to do things to get banned for and
most especially if someone is the special kind of stupid to leave something like that in a bag at an inn... then the result of them losing their soulstone is the least of their worries. In fact the person in the last scenario should worry more about taking the toaster and television into the shower with them on a recurring basis.
For those rare occasion where people are locked out due to EA's account management stuff and the house falls... those are the ones I do feel bad for, but I am willing to bet the number of soulstones which come from that scenario are miniscule when compared to the others.
