I don't remember my old account.. how bad is it to start a new account? Is their housing space for the largest customizable plot?

Will I be unable to buy from player economy because of Dupers?

Thanks! Also interested in playing with people. I like mule characters and warriors.

Starting a new one isn't that tough. Just remember you have to have 2 accounts now! One "master EA" account and one "Mythic account" You pay on the first one and play on the second.

Housing? You bet! Some shards are more populated than others but I've seen several 18x18s around.

Dupers? They are here, but the economy is good on Chesapeake but I can't really comment on other shards. Siege is supposedly pretty darn solid though.

You are welcome! I of course have to suggest Chesapeake as a good place to come back. Lots of people specialize in helping old and new players get back up and running again. Of course Atlantic is also very popular and Siege is as well.

Just so you know, on Napa I know at least ten prime locations for houses and at least two spots where you could easily drop a Keep/Castle.

I think he said he wanted to play with people... How many are there on Napa? 10? Sorry..... j/k ...... Anyway... Atl is fairly full so housing could be an issue there. Chessy and GL's are about the same you can find 18x18 spots but not a keep or Castle.. there are people..

Nostalgia can be from Siege now you can play on both Chessy and Siege now and have a house on both. Siege of course is one char per account but is currently rather fun.

Good luck.

I would say Siege too, IF you did like the old days, where you could die to players and risk to lose your items. Also the economy is much more healty on Siege as most kind of duping don't work on Siege and as our npc's won't buy anything, we do not get alot gold added to the game that way.
Most trading on Siege is between players, and prices are not insane on Siege.

I'm a Trammie.
Then Siege may not be for you unless you are a crafter, who rarely leave town. eds can be good customers in a well runned shop.

Not sure what define a Trammie :)

Chessy was my home shard years ago and is still a great place imo. Glad to hear you are enjoying yourself.

One piece of advice I will give you is just play the game and have fun. Do not worry about dupers/cheaters affecting your play style because they cannot unless you let them.

Found a NICE 18x18 spot just to the left of the entrance to Umbra. Very first plot there. There is plenty of space around it too if you guys get asked.

At least I think it's Nice! Probably sucks to you guys. A guildie gave me this full Virtue armor suit? I've been killing everything I come across.

Having a good time. :) Thinking of making a mule... Blacksmith, Mining, Carpentry, Tailoring, Tinkering, Fletching/Bowcrafting, Alchemy? Maybe drop bowcrafting for some 120 skills and Lumberjacking?

Glad things are working out for you Ray.
I'm curious about the guild you joined, sounds like you made a good choice (Virtue armor suit, nice). Not for myself, but would like the name of your guild so I can pass it on to the new players I run into. If I recommend a guild I'd like it to be one where they will have a positive experience, like yourself, and maybe stick around for a while. Thanks.

No need to drop skills. Buy a few soulstones from the origin store when they get it back up. Time is money as is a second account to run more templates. Soulstones do pay for themselves in the long run. Their bad ideal (soulstones) is your wallet saver.

Soulstones:

Available for purchase from the Origin store if they every get that straightened out you can buy a Legacy Token and chose a Green Soulstone. A Soulstone will hold your skill for you. Like having it on hold... You really need 2 to hold one skill.... You put the skill you want to keep but not use right now on the stone... then the skill you are working up you finish working and when you want to have the other skill back on you put the extra skill to take off on the empty second stone and then retrieve the skill your changing out with from the 1st stone.

Works really well you can also swap skill between all your characters on that shard... So some folk build a "skill holding" character and scroll them up just as they would any other character and transfer skills to only one stone and then stick them on their "skill holder" character and then the skill holder transfers a wanted skill to the stone and then the first char takes that skill off the stone. Thereby eliminating the need for 2 stones. But then you have to have Powerscrolls on both the skill holder and the char using it. But it's ok.
