Too young to receive gift...

I posted this question last night but as I slept it grew legs and ran off. So excuse me for asking again, but...how long does this last? I made a bunch of new characters yesterday on both my active accounts in hopes of getting more holiday gifts, I'm hoping it wasn't too little too late. I think it's 2 months but am not sure. Can anyone verify?

I'm pretty sure it's 30 days old before you qualify for any of the 'gifts', same time as a 'young' account reaches maturity and linked to the 30 day cycle for checking account age.

Edit : certainly was for 15th Anniversary last year - http://uo2.stratics.com/posts/33680 - and I doubt anything has changed.

Yea, I dont mind that I am not getting a gift, but to be constantly reminded of the fact that there will be no gift for me today starts to get a little depressing after awhile

We are getting close to anniversary time... next month in fact. Not to mention in 2 weeks its only 4 months to Christmas. So do the math kiddies.
Also I would suggest you start your shopping early or saving up for it when you do start...

So know one really knows the exact time that lasts? I notice it doesn't show on a char I created about 2-1/2 months ago. Just wanting to be greedy and get gifts on both my shards.

It takes 30 days to be able to "get gifts". After 30 days you can get something if there were something currently turned on to get... However at this time I don't think there is anything active for getting. But good to be old enough before the 16th anniversary and all Hallows Eve.

At any rate getting gifts is good. Trust me my friends are hating on me right now because I've faithfully gotten gifts on all shards year after year after year... yes hording.... and traded many times for gifts on my home shard.... They used to laugh at me but now having had more than 20million in points they aren't laughing anymore...

I enjoy every min and I'm really happy to have stuff to trade.

That's what I do.

Got one account all filled up for all the US servers and a couple on my second one. Making 100+ chars is a terrible way to spend a night or two...hopefully it works out well for me in the end. Do you do the European or Japanese servers too?

I have a character. Dead. Log on every 90 days to refresh a small house.
I get the message that I cannot get a gift when I am dead every time I log on.
