I think the title pretty much sums it up. This something I've been thinking for a while and especially since Virtue vs. Vice and the recent mythic token fiasco came up.
I personally think the Devs should do more to interact with the UO community at large and not just the one here on stratics. Some players actively avoid these boards because they don't like what is seen as harsh/biased MODs and people diverting topics of threads.
I personally am concerned with pvp and as far as I know the HOT boards are the dwelling place of a lot of the true pvpers (players that spend 80-100% of the time pvping) and a place where lots of returning pvpers go to when they're getting back into the game. I think it'd behoove the DEVs to post there for topics like the fixing factions or for Virtue vs. Vice because here the thread is flooded with very niche players who I think get over represented, RPers concerned about factions and controlling towns, a few people concerned about UO lore, Siege players, and a few people just being negative about pvp in general.
As we saw with the last time they tried to fix factions by redoing the points and making those huge bases, more feedback and pvp input was drastically needed. I'd hate to see that happen again.
Anyone else have suggestions?
