Reduntant=Unwanted useless Vendors - -

Is there anything that can be done to have redundant vendors removed from a new owner's house?

Notice: The house is PRIVATE but the vendors are still on the TOP FLOOR of the house .. and thus look like they are standing on the Sidewalk. This is preventing her from developing the top floor of her house to her own creative ideas.

Details:
Last year this well known player on Sonoma was able to place a Luna House on the South Path, west side, of Luna City. But three vendors in that house did not vanish when the house went IDOC. Those vendors were on the roof of the house. She was unable to get rid of them and today they still stand there, useless, unwanted, and incredibly annoying as they are on the top floor of the original building and thus look like they are standing on the pathway. She blocked them off by building Walls around them finally, after trying unsuccessfully to get them removed by those in power.

This friend is still paying for that account because I helped her place that house and I feel bad that she has never been able to enjoy and set it up the way she SHOULD BE ABLE TO .. and that she is STILL stuck with those vendors after holding the place for over a year.

Similarly I have a Herald someone left under my house sign of one of my houses that's causing me to be unable to trade it that I wish would get removed.

There are many vendors, mannequins, and heralds who stuck around after their houses fell throughout the lands. The vendors only started after the patch several months ago that changed how some things redeeded. Seems like it is something GM's should come and remove though so not sure why paging isn't working. Perhaps tell them that they are orphaned and not truely in or a part of that house as you imply.

Similarly I have a Herald someone left under my house sign of one of my houses that's causing me to be unable to trade it that I wish would get removed.

This problem has been the topic of numerous threads over the years, and yet, I still see many very old left-overs and new ones, standing outside of houses, every where I travel.

Thank you Claudia-fjp. I'll advice foley to try get those vendors removed by GM or by whoever can do the job. *Mesanna might be able to give this particular problem another shove in the right direction. *I would ask her, but she is expected to deal with far too much all the time.

I posted this Topic again hoping to hear about some thing that has been done to fix the problem, otherwise hoping to get the attention of someone who is in a position to try work on it.

I have reported the 3 Vendors as violators living on the roof top of a private home rent free & preventing the owner from developing the property to her liking since placing house after IDOC last year. Since the Violation target won't let me target the Viollator Vendors, nor will it let me target myself as the complaintive, I've logged in a second account character named Jade to stand UNDER the 3 Vendors to show GM the vendors are on the roof and not on the pavement as they seem to be on the Luna South Pathway. I targeted my own Jade and asked the GM to remove the Vendors if possible (*adding please don't remove my Jade)

Waiting to see if the GM will respond... nothing yet.

So .. reporting the Vendors to the GMs meant getting around the problems of not being able to target the vendors, nor myself. So I tried targeting another Jade on another account walking UNDER the Violating Vendors, and that made it possible to send a complaint to the GM. I expected to be tossed in jail for annoying the GM but ...

Here's the result - - a quick response!



Thank you Claudia=fjp and Aran. You both got me thinking. First Aran - you made me feel something HAS to be done and I am going to try find out what can be done. And you, Claudia, thanks. You triggered the idea that the GM should be able to do something. That got me thinking. And now after over a year .. POOF they are gone just like that!

GMs are actually pretty good at removing redundant or blocking items, every time I've paged on stews, statues, cannons etc they have been removed within 10-20minutes.

Numerous earlier pages resulted in automated messages saying they would look into the matter or messages were filling up my E-mail with their replies giving a Case #, followed by another e-mail announcing: " We have closed this case for now . You can reach us at help.ea.com for further assistance " .

No action was ever taken to remove those vendors.

And yesterday, I reported the problem to GM and after waiting for over an hour for some response, REAL LIFE interrupted and I had to log out. This again HAS resulted in an e-mail that says, "We have closed this case for now. etc"
So targeting one of my own account characters to get attention - worked !! Again thanks to GM Saupha
