For special moves, minimum of 70?

Hello all!
I need to report this problem, and need to know if it is a bug:
yesterday I was struggling with my char ninja in felucca,
and found another player that has exactly the same ability, and even he was with the same weapon;
he applied a death strike, and I tried the same thing, and got the message that i needed at least 70 of fency and tactics.
I happen to have 120 of the fencyng and 120 of tactic,



so I challenged him to stand and face me again, and he was waiting for me , and started a new fight and happened exactly the same, the same message and he beat me again..


ah, yes to the gun we were using was a war fork, and special moves used by both beyond death strike was the bleed attack.
I use the EC, and by his reaction he seemed to use the classic client.

at firs t I was in animal form, and he mounted, then returned to human form, and i tried to dismount it, and could not, i tried to death strike and could not, i tried to bleed attack and could not, always the same message.

Could you post a screenshot? It has to be something set up weird..you obviously have the correct skill and if you weren't in animal form or some other form where you can't use..seems odd

I was so .... well ... disappointed to lose twice ... I forgot to record this moment

yes they are all real, I learned that in pvp you have to be all or nothing

Well actually in PvP you really only need 90 tactics

Figured as much, but an easy enough question to eliminate one reason.

There used to be skill loss for murderers with short term counts and resurecting, but that was long ago. I don't think that "feature" is in place anymore.

Does it work earlier or is it an error on first try?

Tactics 120 real
hide 100 real
stealth 120 real;
in my humble opinion , I should no t get this message; nor should it fail my special moves, i think

the devs have promised to move this skill also; and when they do it, I got the distinct impression that they do not play this game; for exemple: you ever tried player versus player with a gargoyle?
for every ten shot, you only 3 hit, or if you're really have lucky, four.

I thought that too. The message does match up. On some occasions getting that message was the only reason I realized I was disarmed.

For some reason I'd originally thought from the message that this had happened several times, in which case the original poster would've noticed it sooner or later, but upon a re-read I now see it was only twice.

He also noted that both combatants had the war fork, I think. War Fork has disarm as a special.

Hey, original poster: Sorry if you've addressed this already but what move were you trying when you got the message?

Hmm. Count how many times you make a hit on them and disarm them after three hits, which may cause them to run. Maybe switch to spear to paralyze then return to fork and disarm them. Or, if you see that message have a macro to arm a leafblade and feint them. -Lorax
