Idea to make trade deals....better

Allow them to exceed the caps.

Honestly, you cannot build a suit around HOPING you get a specific bonus from your town. And most suits seem to max out this stuff anyway.

(BTW- dexterity has NOTHING to do with casting spells,- the text for the +1 FC is awful and poorly done. If you want it tied to the Bards, have it be something more along the lines of their Music or Melodies allow the magic to flow faster through you, enabling you to cast spells faster (+1 FC))

Caps are there for a reason - they should'nt be tampered with lightly.
One of the problem with the design for trade deals are that SOME of them will not be used at all.
The price for them should scale towards their demand (or weight) - set fixed prices that depend on the trade deal/property.

For example... Trade deal for FC1 is very useful. Mages using mage weapons may want to reach FC4 for SW spells. Now this is viable option as they do not need extremely rare FC1 SC Mage weapons - While HCI 5 is something that is much more easy to attain and less in demand.

FC1 has 140 weight for imbuing
HC 5 has 43 weight for imbuing

..to make them cost the same is bad design.

- Make them last longer... eg 3 weeks at a time
- Set different costs for each trade deal OR make it possible for citizens to earn discount for trade deals (quests, grinding etc.)

How about diminishing costs on trade deals if indefinite = one week? First week is 2 million. Second consecutive week is 1.9 million. ... 10th consecutive week and beyond could be 1 million.

How about some trade deals that aren't focused on PvP or PvM? One example...Fishing bait buff that would stack with the suit buff. And before you say no one would choose this....I run regular fishing contests on LS with reasonably large payouts. 32 million was the last prize pool. I know that some towns would use that buff for the week or 2 that a contest was running.

I have several other ideas (some deals that benefit crafters) but they'll have to wait till I get to cpu. Typing on the phone is annoying.

How about just letting each citizen choose which buff they want instead of it being dictated by the Governor? I bet you'd see a lot more interest in and use of the system than how it is now. If it continues as is, it will be dead shortly if it isn't already.

How about the Trade Deal last indefinitely like it was supposed to !! As it stands the Gov. has to Redo it every week, which sux....
