haven't heard from the devs in a while and just trying to figure out what plans they have in mind for the next patch and when they may be uploading them to the test center?

because we all know that coding before getting the opinion of the player base is what it's all about. Sounds like the perfect idea there for an epic fail.... Go ahead and implement and code something without letting the players know before hand what the ideas were, let alone getting the opinions from the players before doing it (assuming since we are the ones that are paying to play that our opinion somewhat matters).

After the Pub 81 debacle, they should be in here asking us "What if DCI could get up to 90? Would that be ********?" (or rather, whatever the equivalent question will be for Pub 82) months in advance.

Be the first to have a set, ring and bracelet, of moonstone jewelry imbued and blessed. Finding goals and completing them is the key to enjoying UO. Shiney and new just means more post about getting more storage or stable space.

Obviously the next system will be refining weapons and jewelry to add to your HCI cap. It will be +15 on each and allow you to reach a 90 HCI cap. The intent is to make HLA more important.

What we know for sure is that the next Publish will neither come fast enough to satisfy those who think nothing is being done nor slow enough satisfy those who think things are thrown out untried and untested.

I take what I can get at this point. Hopefully the present limited resources that exist go into things that the player base is actually calling for rather than the trainwreck that is refinements.

Sounds about right. Code is done. Just need new properties and targeting of the code. That will just lead deeper down the road "we can't make it stack" excuse. Really if the little light doesn't go on by now that something new should stack or not. Just put a decay timer on new things like refinement to avoid hoarding and high pricing. Varnish and Waxes are put on in coats. Instead of grades. Should of had a RNG for the grade of refinement once applied. Never reducing the last applied refinement coat by a weaker grade refinement produced by the RNG. Instead of containers of different grades of refinement for different armor. Players would make sets of armor. They would keep appling refinements to their armor sets till each piece maxed. "It rubs it's oil on it's leather bustier...... *leather stiffens* Swweeeeett."
