Hi,

When a vendor has a zillion items thrown on top of each other, does the EC show the items individually so you can actually find and purchase a specific item? If not, is there anyway to see all of the items on a vendor?

Thanks, Katrena

Yes, and it's the reason everything is on top of each other in the first pace... Vendors should be stocked in the EC using legacy containers option
I often see vendors stocked in the CC that have the same issue, where people try stuffing too much stuff in one vendor with no organisation, labeling etc. It is not solely an EC issue. However, I shop a LOT and the problem is not that much of an issue. In the last month I have come across one vendor where placement was a major drag, but being an EC user it was no problem I just switched views.

So yes the EC gives you the option to switch between legacy and grid packs, if an EC user isn't using the legacy option it could be that they either don't know about it, or they don't care about it (but this second option is unlikely given that the idea of a vendor is to sell your stuff to the masses so having that attitude would kind of defeat the purpose, wouldn't it?) :p

A lot of the time it's so that you can't tell they actually have like 40 barbed kits or whatever up at once.

Skilled people can stock it in EC containers and still have it perfectly visible and organzied in the EC. But yes, all EC vendor owners should be checking their vendors with CC Container Toggle to ensure.

I am afraid I stock a vendor using the EC with no care at all to the CC... Honestly I hate the CC and I can't stand CC containers and their tiny little spaces...Trying to stick stuff in nice neat rows in tiny little spaces makes my hands cramp and my eyes strain.

But that's me I suppose...

Shopping however in the EC is a dream come true... Nothing hidden, save that which we can not see.... certain things are "invisible" to the EC...... like some of the "unused" tiles. I had one myself... never could find where I put it. But the EC with Pinco's even gives you vendors with a list view... No grid just a clear list of names. Sadly things like Scrolls of Alacrity or Scrolls of Transcendence only say just that they don't say what exactly they are unless you hover your cursor over them but you have that same problem in the CC as well... And Pinco has nice search features for containers...

One wish I've always had is that if a vendor doesn't have anything "For Sale" ... as in it's "empty" or it only has items on it that you can't purchase then it should say it's empty or be a different color on it's bar than the yellow... Perhaps it could be purple? Would sure help... Though if we ever got a vendor search feature that would be nice.

The main reason I don't play CC is because of the horrible inventory system. I used to play 3D, and since I had properly sized inventories I never wanted to go back.

Hi,

Problem solved. I asked if anyone around the vendor used the EC and a "very nice person" tried to pull the item to the top so I could purchase it. When that didn't work, they just purchased it themselves and gave it to me for free.

Thanks, Katrena
