I use EC, not sure what clients others that reported this in Gen chat are using. I personally had to re-log and restart client 4 times. One person had a GM tell them it was lost, only to have it magically re-appear the next day. Another person is still missing blessed items.
Sounds like a lag issue... but is it client side or game? Once had something similar on a call from the Que. The item was there in the bag but was invisible till the death was out of the persons cache memory of the game... Double check to see item count in your pack if is should happen again. I understand its heart wrenching to think you lost a valuable item.
Interesting. If it can be verified as only being one client or both that may help. Were those who died and lost the blessed item at the same location, such as a spawn or PvP event?

Item count only showed what was visible. Keep in mind, my items did eventually show up, but there is still one person that is missing items. Even a GM told one person the item were gone and lost just to have it show up the next day. It is really strange. Anytime I have had it lag related it has been that all items disapear for a bit not jsut blessed.
Screenshots or it didn't happen.
It wasn't me in Fel, but however that person did have it re-appear the next day after a GM said it was gone.
When it's happened to me its been blessed clothing and even my PBD tali.
ok i use the classic client and was in tram set, and in the past 2 days it has happened to me. One time my tasty treat from yesterday didn't reappear til today as well as a Dryads blessing i was collecting, i died and noticed one was missing and wouldn't you know it appeared the next day in my pack!?!? Something is going on for sure and needs to be fixed....
But on a side note they aren't lost forever!

Last night died and rezed on the EC. Loot sound goes off and nothing appears in pack. Nothing on corpse. All insured items are in pack in their place in grid. So use butchers cleaver to skin corpse and those related items I had show up. Close open pack and they rest showed. Had know my weight before death so new items was on me.
I had a eth retouching tool vannish. Not where I kept it or on any my characters and turned houses upside down. Nearly a year later recall to one my houses. Along the mountain side nearly a half screen away from the front of my house was a retouching tool laying on the ground. Less weird and more like lucky,at someone elses bad luck.
Been about seven years. Still waiting for my archer's PBDed bow to show up. Wouldn't be worth unraveling today but back then warrented a PBD security. One those last straws for a camel named Fel.
