Exactly why is it that the Corgul encounter in Felucca is unable to be entered?
Once a map for the island is gotten, no one else can get one until that map has expired.

Is this in the spirit of Felucca? To be able to go farm with no worry of a raid?

Whats the point of even putting it in Felucca? For a random encounter at the drop?

You are mistaken many people can get the Corgul map and enter the instance. I just sailed to the island then used a different account and got a second map and was able to sail into the island(have to use a high seas boat also). I have been raided there once. Corgul is tricky sometimes, if you doing the fel side you have to use a fel treasure map and a world map made in fel, I have also sailed to the island and it was full of red guys but Corgul never spawned. There is a cool down between when he is killed and when you can get a new map and I have seen it get bugged like a peerless and no one could get a map all day before.

Yes, this always was my understanding that Corgul, unlike a Peerless, could be entered by others once started. Indeed such has been the subject of complaints on these very boards.

I've raided and been raided there, often.

Every time I attempt to get a map when someone else has one I get the message I have to wait.
This message continues until the first map expires. Or you can be real lucky and it just all out disappears.

I have never seen this raided, and to say someone could stumble in there is next to impossible.

I did a Fel Corgul recently on Atlantic. We arrived to find someone else had worked much of the spawn. We cleaned up the rest and the boss. So this is additional confirmation multiple parties can get maps to the same Fel Corgul.
