• Please know that fighting your pets to drop pools of blood to block house placement is being viewed as a griefing tactic. If a GM is called he will warn you, if you do not stop you will be removed from the area. This will be fixed in the next publish.

Tonight I had a LEGALLY placed house on Great Lakes at the Luna IDOC. Due to griefer running young accounts, attacking pets in the IDOC zone, I lost the LEGAL placement. The blood splattered to the ground before I could confirm placement and my placed house went "poof".

I had paged multiple times, as did other people. No GM's took action, in fact the more we paged, the more the griefers got on (young) accounts and continued to grief.

Why tell us that a GM will warn/remove players from area if it does not happen. Also why was this not fixed in the next publish like promised in the Producers Letter.

Us long time players have been holding on for hope for so long. The one time I actually got to get the LEGAL placement on a Luna house that would have funded my Castle, something I wish dearly to achieve before this game ends, was taken away due to the inaction of GM's who were aware of the situation (knowledge shown by multiple in game messages received from GM). Its one thing when there aren't GM's to respond, Its another when the respond but take no actions to enforce the rules, you said would be enforced in this Producers Letter.

I wont lol, even finally after it was all said and done, had a 20 minute conversation with a GM, and they were still clueless. The house spot is gone, whatever. It just irks me in all these years, the first time I ever got one placed I lost it simply because the GM's didn't act as they were supposed to as noted in this producer letter.

This is why every IDOC needs to have a fel ruleset with a 50 tile radius of the house falling.

I understand it must have been extremely frustrating to fail to place due to mechanics that were supposed to be fixed; but if it's any consolation, you should be able to afford a castle with a little dedication to areas of the game the idiots can't prevent... I funded mine (at 480m) via selling good Greater Dragons, mining for valorite and crystalline blackrock, and from imbuing reagents from Tmap chests... I think I sold 2 EM rares I had duplicates of, as well as 1 unique (which i now regret, but I wanted to get closer to castle money, so I traded one for the larger dream). Again, I don't wish to minimize your agony, just to suggest you can still take the initiative and turn this into a minor hiccup. And crossing my fingers you'll get there soon, if not as soon as you fairly should have.

You know, there's an idea, I have tons of imbuing resources saved up, as I make my own suits. But seeing how this new pub has made suits a little confusing to most people, I think I might sell off my stock of ingredients.

Yes, it is actually much more profitable to sell your crafting materials than to craft/sell suits anymore. People that don't craft don't have an understanding of how much resources you burn/waste by reforging, enhancing, failing etc.

In terms of the house - I noted that two 8x8 were placed and one has a current bid of 850m. Not sure how realistic that is - but its the current bid listed.

Imagine what a good gold sink if EA auctioned off these IDOC's or even real money generation. I'd rather see a player pay $100 to EA for a luna house than some cheater/scripter.

Almost inclined to agree with you. Nothing ticks me off more than cheaters getting stuff.

I had the same problem as the OP... I was there could have placed but those idiots on either side beating horses and I did page a GM who removed the statue placed by DC* jerks and the hanging lantern..... what a waste of a hanging lantern.... No wonder the lands are full of garbage with jerks like that.... didn't get phased in the least by the popping of the Harbringer..... almost expected that... but the beatting the horses to block placement that seriously ticks me off.

When is something going to be done about it?

I was at this very same IDOC, I tried to place every minute, on the minute change, from fall to when two people placed. @ thread poster, you beat me by like half a second! My message was you cannot reach that! I was like crap!

Hope it's a pretty house though.
