Slasher of Veils drops, some help?

Okay so I killed him twice, he dropped some things I am wondering what they are for. Any help appreciated.

Claw of Slasher of Veils - Stackable, drops every time
Tattered Remnants of an Ancient Scroll - Many
Ancient Pottery Fragments - many
Untranslated Ancient Tomb - A book, cant open, dropped second time.

I dont know what to do with these items, but I know the scroll and pottery things are used in some kind of quest. Anyone have any idea?

Also, does he drop anything special? Like other peerless drop a crimmy and some kind of something specific to them.

So, anyone have any ideas?

The pottery, tattered remnants and ancient tomb all are quest items that the guy, (forgot his name) wants from you. He's in the Royal city museum which is right by the Northwest entrance to the city. Rewards are a bag of gold, gems and some ingredients. Usually parasitic plant and fungi.

Axem the curator, good quest. Yeah, the book is for the highest level of his quest, has a nice payoff too

As of right now I am pretty sure it is deco. There is no use in-game so far but that could change. Although Dread Horn drops a head that does nothing for the most part lol.

I agree. I was fortunate enough to get the "stygian dragon head" drop the one time our alliance did the stygian dragon. Surprisingly, ther is no Gorgon head for Medusa...

I think thats the Claw of the Defiler, it looks similar to the slasher claw but was an EM/Story event item. Unless they changed slasher claws to do the same thing.

okay i admit you got me darnit God it looks exzactly the same i thought it was im glad you said this before i stock piled on the useless this claw i guess does nothing but make the skyth then or does it even do that then of corse you still need a recipe Smiles... got any those defiler i wanted to buy i got few at 200k few months ago gave them away to friends now theres only 2 for like way too much i wont say cuz im not paying a mil for just sparkle now when i gave them away crys now all those people who knows where they are lol ..........Buying a few defiler if you got any on pac or LS mostly Atlantic though ...wow i dont even have one o well

The hand has no use but it does look interesting in a house of horrors.... The book and tattered remnants are good to turn in to the museum curator in Ter Mur for a bag of gold gems and otherwise useful items.... this also gains you loyalty to the queen so if you are building an Imbuer who can't fight this is a great way to build up some points and gain loyalty.

As for the pottery fragments these are most useful if ground up into dust to use on Medusa Scales giving one invulnerability to her gaze.

The Styngian Dragon also has the head which is also useless... Perhaps someday we will be given some good use for them but as for now they are about as useless as any other dust collector in the game.

the claw i believe is a 5000 turn in point item.

the ultimate slasher drop is the lavalierre. took me about 100 times to get mine however.

Forgetting throwing for a moment, has anyone found a suitable method to solo melee Slasher in a reasonable amount of time? There have been so many adjustments and suit changes I may have to go back and spend some quality time with the angry red fella if there is a working template.

Not sure if you consider running three accounts as solo, but I used 2 4x120 bards each running both bard songs and a bush/chiv/macer to solo him toe to toe with no real issue.

i use to solo him on the whammy (make sure u have invis pots) takes around 30 -45 min.

176hp , 18 hp regen + bards buffs, parrying + bushido + healing pots and you can survive rocks easily

Between the 30% damage reduction, the 20 or so points of healing every few seconds, 170+ HP, bard HPR (effects of the bard songs) and a bandaid I just stood there. Occasionally if he popped me with his dismount attack at roughly the same time as the howl I would chug a heal pot, but that was pretty rare.
