Calling all Master Thieves!

Any thieves out there been "commandeering" the new shiny refinements?

Have you noticed if they respawn every server up, or do we need to clear the strong boxes out?

I did it yesterday and when trying again today I noticing alot of the same items still in the boxes..

Clearing the chest,crates,barrels, golden boxes is the best way.

If there is food inside, eat the food. Use Pepta bottles to empty your stomach is needed.If you see fish,use a knife on them.
Remove the ore always clicking the smallest ore piece to a smallest ore piece in your backpack.
Clean out as much you can , careful with the heavy items... Guards not always sleeping!

120 Stealing (Real skill is best) is very very helpful!

I can personally confirm that even though i left the other items in the crates and boxes, the refinements still respawned, Although i cannot confirm an actual timeframe for them to respawn because i did it before work and than right after 8 hours later. I use 50 stealing with shadow dancer legs and burglars bandanna and never fail to steal. I have had guards whack me twice in the past 3 days. Also i dont use lockpicking i just put 50 stealing on my mage and use unlock spell.

cleaning out all items will give a better chance that a refinement will respawn, I take items I remove and drop them on a npc to gain back karma on my thief

Update. I literally just stole one from a barrel in minoc. Didnt clean it out or anything and it respawned in 2 min. It doesnt seem to be consistent though. It just randomly happened.

Some crates,chest and barrels respawn in a matter of a few minutes, others take a bit longer 15-20 minutes.

From what I've personally got refinements from..
Blacksmiths/tailor/carpenter/tanner/armourer

Gold strong boxes/barrels/chests/crates

You need lock picking or Magery unlock spell

A few questions if I may...

1) - Does stealing in Felucca raise any chance to find the refinement ingredients as compared to Trammel ?
2) - Does wearing any Luck also affect, when picking the lock or opening the container the chance to find any refinement ingredient ?
3) - What about dungeons' containers as compared to town containers ? Is the chance to find refinement ingredients higher in dungeon containers (and increasingly as the dungeon level gets tougher...) as in comparison to town containers ?

1) You can only steal the refinements in Felucca. Only for SoS Bottles, T-maps ,Champion spawns ,Merchant ships and Pirate ships the chance for higher refinements can be found more often in Felucca then Trammel.

2) No, Spawn and respawn of chests is all dependant on the mighty RNG!

3) You can only find refinements to steal in Felucca shops with a Blacksmith,Carpenter or Tailor in the shop.
