I know it's been a long time since I've been on Catskills. But here I stand, reaching out to the fine people of this shard, the shard I still call 'home', even though i've been on Lake Austin for years.
A horrible injustice was done to my husband, due to an oversight on his part. He accidentally had a few boxes in his home set to friends/guildmates. From that accident, someone happily helped themselves to his prized possessions. He's lost all his snowglobe sets he worked for years on completing, along with many tokens (including 2 x-shard), all his dye tubs (the old non-vet black ones as well) and lots of ranger armor (along with other named armor sets).
While we both know that the tokens are worth the most, we also know we can't possibly replace them. However, the snowglobes were truly his pride and joy. He really worked so hard on completing all 3 sets.
So what am I asking? I'm asking, if you have any snowglobes, would you please consider parting with them? I will happily pay. I know I have a few here and there, and can probably start rebuilding his set, but I never collected the city ones, so there I start fresh.
This whole situation breaks my heart. My husband is such a 'collector', he prides himself on getting full sets of anything and everything. He also goes out of his way to help others and will give them the shirt off his own back if they were to need it. The worst of all of this, is knowing that someone we trusted did this.
