What would help though, is for individuals and groups of players to schedule times taking turns picking up all the books then dump them in the trash or sell them to provisioners far away from the LUNA bank and the bank/provisioner in Haven.
Definitely not just you. I occasionally run through Luna picking them up as the appear too. Never thought of gating him somewhere though... being a mage, I'm going to have to try that, should he return.

Too bad they might have to since this was a good way to get recruits for RP community and such..... but I may be inclined to agree....... either that or flag any account buying more than 20 books.... resulting in an immediate GM page...... let the GM see the bot and toss them in jail ban the account.
I cast a few gates in front of one of the Robots to a heavy spawn area in Destard Dungeon. He kept coming back through the gate. After a few more tries, he didn't make it. I think the spawn got him.

:applaud:The Robots place moonbooks at every moongate in Felucca and every Shrine, but only stand in the moongates where they are safe so wouldn't walk through a moongate that anyone placed there. Meanwhile, there are always Trammel dungeons and horrendous spawn but you need to cast two or three gates to different spots or close to the spots so they return from one gate and walk into another (so I am told)If you "encourage" them, they even make home deliveries...
(too bad I still haven't found a way to bring them over to Felucca...)
This is pathetique. We can lessen the pain by trying to diminish the litter and knowing that your efforts are appreciated even if seemingly in vain. It depends on whether dupers are creating more gold or more items. I'm inclined to think more gold than anything, because gold is of course the universal medium of exchange, but -- without going into details -- it's also the easiest thing for dupers to launder. With the exchange ratios I understand these sites want, it's cheaper to buy the gold, then use the gold to buy an item in-game. Disclaimer: I also do not condone any of the sits or what they do. I'm just giving a quick observation as a trained economist.
You already have an option available to you. If you have a human character, copy roleplaying books with interesting player content. Then you can use the inscribe skill (human jack of all trades if you don't have a scribe) and copy over the dropped books with something meaningful to the game. I suppose they could invest in orange petals to prevent this, but as far as I know, they don't do this at the moment.

I tried building a house and having special jails in it so I could send them all to my Prison .. and I marked runes to the inner jail rooms which would give the Plague no room to move .. BUT I forgot you can't gate anyone into the house and thus the gate ends up outside the house. So .. no use doing that. I am looking for public buildings with stairs outside.
Well there is the one in Haven... but really don't like them there. I might suggest Yew Prison or how about Bucs Dens rooms that the GM's use..... maybe a GM will find them there? Or look at the Prison in Trinsic.
I've suggested this before. If the DEV's put out a tiny publish everyday for a month or more.... perhaps that would discourage them enough to make some of them move on.
That is why I was trying to make a house with prisons inside from which Plague and his various counterparts cannot escape. I hope others are taking note on other shards of your suggestions. Those photos I posted are in HAVEN buildings and I fear the escort service to the Mapmaker may be compromised so New Locations are required. Thanks for your suggestions. There is a fellow on Sonoma who is going to check and mark those and others spots. Right now I have to deal with a busy real life.
