What type of duped items won't go on vendors anymore on TC1?
I wish the US would have gotten that deal because I would have given UO/EA my money, but because they did not my money stayed in my wallet. I do not buy duped items from other sites no matter how good they make it.
I was lucky, I live in England and got 10 transfer tokens for the price of 5. They are not for resale I will use them, cheep at half the price
Why do you think this is? Because the two go hand in hand. You need to do bods to get runics to craft.
Its not like we like the complexity of the bod system either. From Day 1 I've always thought 10/15/20 QTY's were annoying. Make them all be 15 and we'd have 1/3 as many bods to match/chase down. The whole social aspect of trading bods is gone with bribing so just remove the complexity already. I haven't traded bods with anyone in years yet I still have mountains of 10/15/20 bods to match up.
Bleak or any other dev looking in ... Drop the bloody bod books to the same as the pink books. Those pink books are perfect and if you did the same for bods the storage and vender crap would abate. 1 book =1 item count would make bods that much more simpler.. then we can sit down and talk the rewards.. in a few words: some suck.
I am pretty tired of pulling bod books on/off vendors and sorting. Never understood why scroll of trans books allow 500 items for 1 lockdown yet our books are 5 bods per lockdown. I could eliminate all my vendors (45 of them) if we had bod books woriking like pink books.
I'd also kill for :
1 - Price all bods : Set filter in book and then click 'price all' and all bods meeting the filter criteria get same price.
2 - Alphabetic sort : This actually ought to be the default on the book but at least have an option in the filter criteria to sort alphabetically
3 - Dump all : Whatever sort is on the book, click dump all to dump all of them to your pack (until pack fills up) instead of pulling out 1 by 1.
4 - Fill book outside pack : Able to fill the book while locked down in your house instead of needing to be in your backpack.
I just came across this thread that also put some hard numbers to how bods are distributed from Phoenix. Maybe this should be captured/sticked in the Crafting forum.

You would think they would jump at the chance to do a whole lot of good in a few small changes to that BOD BOOK.
For one that 1 lock down and beign able to take ot and put in when locked down on something be it floor or table would make game life so much easer... and get alot fo damn vendors out of my house's across a few shards.
I could hold that 450 count full bod book on my fully decked out tailor/smith and NOT have to strip down to my skivies to do it.
Sorting and emptying a book for use in one push of a button is something we dream of...
Can you imagine the ablity to hold in your bag a good handfull of full bod books? and be able to work them.... with out the juggling act we do now......
When I saw that pink's book it hit me..... the Dev CAN fix this...

So far reports from the rares community have not found any "duped" event, seer or server births. We know they are there, but no one has said they found one yet. Can a Dev please confirm whether or not these items were included. If they were not, why were they left out and will you be adding them in? Many collectors would prefer their collections dupe-free or at least be aware of them. Since we can't tell the difference between those that are and those that aren't from appearance, we had high hopes that this would provide a safe identification method. We've also had some reports of non-event items that folks have gotten first hand such as tangles, slithers, etc are unable to go on vendors.
We'd really like to get more info and make sure the system is working as intended.

I am not sure you are going too....
From my understanding of how character transfers work is that all the original items are deleted and new ones were created when you got to your new shard. So, if that is true (unless they recently changed the transfer system), then once an item transfers shards, that can't be tracked anyway.
As for the rares collectors wanting a dupe free event... I find that amusing considering that a lot of the older rares are known dupes or gotten through exploits (two story statues, original black dye tubs for example) and are openly traded for/sold.

Tried realy realy hard and placed alot of items, some that might be very well know to be duped, on my vendor, with no negative result (all would have been possible to sell) So either this isnt working as inteded, OR i am i realy lucky so far, OR ther are just no more dupes out there!

Same here. I tested a good few items on a vendor and was able to place them all for sale with no problem. Real LT Sash, Slither etc.
Is it only when people try to buy them it blocks it, or when the person places them on the vendor?

Well after a long day of vendoring and checking the museums collection I can say all the items there are not 1 duped item!! not even the 2 story statues...
Indeed I read the posts, as it would seem there are varying issues with this implementation. Is that a conclusion you could reach by reading through the threads?
Just finished testing all my stuff & as anyone that knows me can attest, Ive got virtual junkyards of stuff. Only 1 piece gave me the duped message and I kinda thought it may be. Bought a gladiators collar replica off an old EX-guildy. The douchbag ended up getting booted from my guild but a month or so before then he was in vent crying abt how poor he was and he needed money so he would sell to a guildy cheap.
Lesson learned... had I gone with my gut instead of trying ta help out this whiner, I wouldn't have this crap.
Prediction : Expect to see PLENTY of "Vendor" shops popping up that DON'T use vendors but instead display items and ask for bids over ICQ.

I had a look over my own Castle O'Crap, and I was somewhat pleased to see there were only 2 items I didn't either earn myself, or was there when it dropped; One was my Singing Ball which I had transferred from another shard, and which turned out to be able to go on a Vendor... and which hopefully means it's genuine. And the other was my cow statue. Ok, Ok... my cow statues. 27 of them. Don't you judge me!!! But interestingly, none of them failed to be placed either, especially as they're one of the most consistently expensive noisy deco statues. Cownclusive hoof, I mean proof that cow lovers are scrupulously honest!
