Will these armor get the LMC and stamia bonuses? or only newly made armor? And will the character bar or armor reflect the 3%/1% LMC bonus (which can go over cap if I am correct)?
Yes to both of your questions as they relate to the LMC bonuses. Haven't tested the stamina bonus stuff yet.
On Origin, I took the following pieces of non-meddable armor that existed before today (some of it is several years' old) and put them on a character:
Baseinet
Platemail Tunic
Studded Gorget
Studded Hiro Sode
Studded Gloves
Studded Leggings (These have LMC 6% property on them. None of the other pieces have LMC as one of their listed properties.)
Wearing all six pieces of armor and nothing else, the character's status bar shows she has 19% LMC. This seems to be calculated as: one piece of studded leather armor (3% inherent LMC + 6% displayed LMC = 9% LMC), three other pieces of studded leather (3 x 3% inherent LMC = 9%), and only one of the two pieces of metal armor (1% inherent LMC).
When I remove the studded leather gorget, the LMC total drops to 17%. This seems to be calculated as: one piece of studded leather armor (3% inherent LMC + 6% displayed LMC = 9% LMC), two other pieces of studded leather (2 x 3% inherent LMC = 6%), and two pieces of metal armor (2 x 1% inherent LMC = 2%).
When I replace the studded leather gorget I removed with an old nonmeddable metal gorget that has 4% LMC on it, the LMC total bounces up to 21%. Calculation: One piece of studded leather armor (3% inherent LMC + 6% displayed LMC = 9% LMC), one piece of metal armor (1% inherent LMC + 4% displayed LMC = 5% LMC), two other pieces of studded leather (2 x 3% inherent LMC = 6%), and only one of the other two pieces of metal armor (1% inherent LMC).
The publish notes from last Friday say:
Each piece of non medable armor will provide lower mana cost with the exception of woodland armor. Each piece of armor up to five pieces will provide a percentage which is not subject to the lower mana cost cap of 40. The armor pieces which provide the most lower mana cost will take priority.
- Platemail, ringmail, chainmail, and dragon armor provides 1% of lower mana cost per piece.
- Studded leather, hide armor, stone armor and bone armor provides 3% of lower mana cost per piece.
