PvP Parry Mage Template.... Help?

So..... I've been running an offensive wrestling Scribe Focus Mage as my main for awhile now, & I don't really feel like I'm getting much out of the wrestling offense (even with 45% HCI & 5% SSI). I've pretty much convinced myself to try out a parry Mage, but now I'm wondering what variations people are running.....

A Few Questions...

1) How useful is Reactive Para for this Temp??

2) I'd like to build it with the following skills

120 Mage
120 Med
120 Eval
120 Resist
120 Parry
100 Scribe
100 Anat

Obviously that's 800 Skil points which means it's a +80 Skill point template as it reads above or I could reasonably drop Med to 100 and have it only be a +60 Skill point template.
I was thinking....
Mark of Travestry = +20 points
Hepheastus Sheild = +10 points
Spell Woven Britches = +10 points
+20 Skill imbued on Jewelry....

Anyway... I'm just looking for input on what other creative people have already come up with. I'll be waiting till pub 81 is out so that I get the new boosted material types etc.

Couple of things I should point out.

1. Wrestling was never designed for offense. It was always for a defensive measure for mages. 45 HCI, with SSI is completely unnecessary for Wrestling. 45 DCI is what to aim for. HCI isn't needed at all, which frees up some room on your suit for other things.

2. Your new proposed template has Anatomy. Anatomy + Eval at 120 is the same as having 120 Wrestling, so if you already have 120 Wrestling, there is no need to change it at all.

3. Parrying, last I checked, only worked if you have 80+ Dex. If this has changed, I'm sure someone will catch it.

To be honest though, I think it's just all in your head on how you believe a Wrestling mage should perform. You might try a Necro Dexxer or Mystic Dexxer if you want a more "in your face" type of caster.

Well... to be blunt I appretiate your attempt at helping me but from your response I dont honestly feel you have the experience or knowledge to give much useful input...

1) Wrestling is indeed offensive. Aka stun & disarm which if you actually want to land will happen ~50% of the timenw/ 45% Hci or maybe 25% of the time without it depending on your opponent. Also.. OF COURSE wrestling provides your combat defense just like all weapon skills..

2) 80 dex req should have been a given since I specified a parry mage. OR wrestling isnt the same as eval + anat bc "dodge" effectively saves you 20 skill points.

3) ....Ive been rude already heh. Just assume Ive PvPed for 15 years from this point on heh.

LoL indeed heh. It might just be me but Id guess that most people that play a RED are ready & willing to be rude to trammies... I give respect to those who earn it but that guy just came accross as a newbie making silly statements. Ultimately the people Id be looking for some ideas from would probably agree with me. Hey I totally Agree I was definately rude etc but pls think before you type!

my response to you was more with humor in mind. actually questions from your ilk (in that I mean the pvp crowd) should be very much welcomed by other pvp'rs and answered or feedback being given in a constructive format that all pvp'rs can glean information from.
