Just want to say 'a big thank you' to Mesanna for helping out with UO Store codes.

I did the blond mistake, that I see others have done. I bought a new stygian abyss code instead of a upgrade code.

E-Mailing or calling customer support dont help, ive tried that. I even got adviced to send e-mail to warhammer online, but no help.

In a last and desperate try, i sent a mail to mesanna - and got reply, against all odds. She said, she needed the acc name, and she would apply it for me - also she got the code i got for the sa new acc and the purchase trade number.

Now, I replied to another thread about the same - and that person got answer within 30 mins!!!

I bow myself and say a BIG THANK YOU to Mesanna for her effort and help.

while it's great that Mesanna can make a call or run to a desk and get this (stupid) billing stuff squared away my fervent hope is that she's always calling the same guy, being not so nice as time goes by, and he becomes weary of it and the crap gets fixed! honestly, I want her to work on our game, not our payment woes

It's actually pretty clear, I just looked at it. One is labeled Stygian Abyss: Account upgrade, the other is Stygian Abyss: New account + 30 days. Mistakes just tend to happen.

Can you show me a screenshot that it says new account?

Neither in dutch, french or geman it is saying that too us.

What is writen for us it says.

I can't click the links cause they direct me to Origin Belgium.

So it seems that the new account part is missing on other langues webpages. Someting went missing in the translations i think.

Well in sweden the upgradeitem say its only for upgrade "additional package ultima online tm stygian abyss (only for upgrade)", and the other item say its for "additional package UltimaOnline tm, stygian abyss and 30 day gamecode". Since Ive read all about it its rather clear but in reality its not so good advertisment.

Indeed. But of course those of us in the US region are usually not aware how misleading the store advertisements are outside our area, hence this discussion. In which case it may not have been obvious to many prior to this...

It does NOT say new account in norwegian either, just expansion. Neither one word that it only applies to NEW account.
