Reagent Gathering

Other than buying up vendor shops (I am aware of the respawning of greater amounts of reagents each time you buy them up), what is the best way to gather reagents? Is there a monster that drops lots of them?

Basically the question is, without actually buying reagents, what is the best way to gather them, or the best monster to gather them from?

I am looking for MAGERY reagents, not necro reagents

consult the hunters guide. for necro regs i use to like the lich room in doom. use to go in there on a paladin and swing the blaze of death.

Faction vendors are the best way to buy them. There are other methods but they are a lot slower. Planting green thorns in dirt, digging up treasure chests, killing magery using monsters and picking them off the ground in the forest. All of these are a lot slower than shop or faction vendors.

Sos and T chests give regs .. if you havea gm fisher or a carto whit a few plains you can gather up a good deal and have a tad bit of fun...
