i have tried...
locking it down
releasing it
using an axe on it..

im on house owner, i have tried any character that could of placed it. no idea..

i even tried raising it, lowering it, and just for fun turning it..

ideas?

I've tested 2 different ones at the house - and one on my brit ship - and I was able to remove all 3 by 2x clicking it.

this one was in my museum, hasnt been moved since oh maybe month after the high seas expansion. So if i remember correctly some of those were broken, and not staying locked down. I paged a GM 3x tonight, no one has showed at all. In fact, twice i was removed from the queue not by my hand:/

Tested mine, seems to be working fine. Sorry to hear yours has bugged out. Hope it gets squared away soon.

The original Small Soul Forges are defective. I've experienced this first hand on two separate occasions.

You need to page a GM and he should exchange it for a good one. A GM replaced mine last month for a good one.

The Small Soul Forges dropping now are fine but the ones that dropped when Osiredon was first introduced are defective.

You got one of the originals...a lemon.

Bummer GM flat out replaced mine.

I actually paged the GM on Sonoma and he ended up contacting me the next day while I was logged into Atlantic. So I logged back into Sonoma and GM came and fixed me. It was no issue at all and took him 2 minutes.

I must have gotten lucky and gotten a good GM.

The GMs either need to replace it or the Devs need to code the legacy Small Forges so they can be re-deedable. I can't read the conversation in the journal but....

No item in your house should be in a permanent state where you can't re-deed it, especially these guys as they aren't cheap.

I would try paging again at a later date.

what do ya know? wait an hour....page again get a different GM, and boom fixed. Im sending info in to EA, cause one guy says no, other guys says sure np.. something is wrong there.
anyhow, thought i would share the info, i tried to blow the pic up a bit.

Maybe it the issues revolves around the policy of replacing items so this issue falls into bit of a grey area. Your essentially asking for an exchange e.g. just semantics of replacing one item with another of the same.

Maybe you got a good and bad GM. In my opinion not very many of them really know wtf they are doing anyway. Hell half of them don't know anything about UO and thank you for playing darkfall.

clearly, of which i know you cant read... the first GM told me he was not permitted, and the second told me he was permitted. and i know you can't read it, but that is what happend.

I'd say it was a lack of understanding on the 1st GMs part. There is a difference in replacing a lost item and replacing a bugged item.
