Yes, same as you, log in screen to updater borked. Assist seems to work ok once it goes through. This seems to happen quite often, well, every couple months and usually fixed in hours or one day. Since we did have to pay for this seems like it should work.
As far as I can tell what's going on is that the UO Assist update server is down.
You then have 10 startups, or 10 days, depending upon your settings, before UO Assist does not work. So if you close UO and UO Assist and then relaunch it to log in, that will count as one of your 10 uses. If you've already exceed that, UOA will stop working for you.
This happens a couple of times a year, the longest it's lasted in recent memory was a little over 1 week.
One day, I suppose, Assist will go down totally. We really just need to accept that, and be grateful for the fact that it hasn't.

For me it only happens after there has been a significant patch. I'm guessing UOAssist has to tweak their software to adjust the the UO patch updates which typically happens within a few days.

Can't connect to Tugsoft at all on either IE, or Firefox.
Weird coincidence that a couple days ago "Tug" supposedly from TugSoft posts for requests for emails from users? Probably not related.
I think it's a conspiracy! They're trying to kill UOA to force all the CC users to cross-over to the dark side - the EC!!!
My UO Assist just connected fine to the update server.

The poster, whomever it was, asks us for E-Mails about a specific issue, and they absolutely can make no reference to the thread that requested the E-mails.
My concern: Poster, if not Tugsoft, is attempting to pull a prank on Tugsoft, making him needlessly check for dress macros.
A petty and stupid prank? Yes, if a prank's what it is! Are stupid and petty pranks unknown on U-Hall?

UOAssist is back up and running fine on my computer. Everyone else back up too?
Don't laugh, they would likely love to see that happen. Problem is a big junk of the CC users would likely leave. Great game content with only a UI like the EC to access it with would not be fun to play. I'd certainly finish out my paid game time and then spend my internet gameplay money elsewhere checking out other games.I think it's a conspiracy!
