Just wanted to let folks know:
I will continue as our shard's reporter, but it will be a little harder for me to keep up with the threads. I like to actually read all the new posts everyday, but I'm afraid it will be more 'skim reading' for a while. I will try to drill down into those threads that are most important. I will also still play UO for a short time each evening and some on the weekends. If we have any events, I will try my best to be there!!
I am now under a serious deadline for Sagril's Tower, the sequel to Morticai's Luck. For any curious, you can find Morticai's Luck at Amazon or Barnes & Noble, but I get more pennies from it if it's purchased straight from my publisher: http://www.brittonknowles.com/ShopOurBooks/Imprints/DarkStar)
I need to get seriously busy on Sagril's Tower if I want it to be released at DragonCon on Labor Day Weekend. I kinda got the evil eye from my editor while at ConDFW. Morticai's Luck just got a good review from Amazing Stories, (http://amazingstoriesmag.com/2013/02/swashbuckling-with-morticai/ ) so the pressure is now on to get this second book out. As a result, I am staying late at the office each night to write (dayjob is legal secretary), and some of the weekend time I was using for UO will get used for writing as well as website stuff. (I'm going to add a forum onto my website for readers, writers, and test readers.)
But UO is how I relax, so I won't be leaving the game until the last UO light is turned out!
So, no - your shard reporter has *not* evaporated along with the EM. Just a little more challenging to keep up with it all. WETSU!
