Can we turn off the desolation on siege?

Siege isn't fel, so can we get rid of the dead trees and whatnot?

I'm tired of my trees not having leaves because of the facet my house is on.

And I do know that you can switch it in the ini, but I like to try to make cool looking house for people to wander around in, and I want to know that it looks the same to everyone.

Unimportant I know, but its been bugging me for years and years.

If your using the CC, go into the EA Games folder in My Documents and open each Siege characters uo.cfg file and change 'desolation=on' to 'desolation=off'

...as I said, I know you can do that, but I want to know what other people see and what I see are the same thing. Also the simple fact that siege never has the facet split (which left fel decimated) so our in game britania has no reason for the blight. And the fact that its silly that we have to alter the game files to see the trees.

This was spurred by xmas trees which I use (or have a desire to use) heavily in my house design and how they show up barren in britania. Reminded me that its always something that has annoyed me, thus the posting.

Tell them to fix it where we don't have to say "fel" in front of the Britannia banks and moongates while they are at it. the Dungeons work without it.

I think this request makes sense. I never liked the feel of Siege's treeless forests. The only reason I don't change the file setting is that I play on the standard shards more than Siege and like to know when I am in fel.

you mean you don't like to be surprised by PK's?

It is time for ALL players on ALL shards to have an option to turn desolation off. EC users have it worse than CC users as far as our options to turn it off.

I'd have no problems with that. I run with desolation off and tree canopies on.

I like the desolation,hate trying to see stuff under the canopies of tree`s,especially in the EC.
