So today I decided I wanted to open my third UO account, and what better way to do so other than buying the Stygian Abyss new account code?
Sounds pretty easy.
Well, I hit the Brazil Origin store, and for sure, there was no Stygian Abyss codes to be had there, just like since the origin store opened here.
Not being one to give up that easily, I remote in at a dedicated server of mine in the US, access the Origin store page and voila, it is the US store.
I add the Stygian Abyss new account code to my cart, go to the checkout, type in all my data, the international credit card number I always use to buy items and game code at Brazil Origin store and press the submit button.
Wohoo! I will be the owner of a Stygian Abyss new account code...
Nope. It returns to the review your order page, without any error message. Try several other times to no avail.
Not being one to give up that easily, I check PayByCash site. The price is higher, but oh well, there we go.
And then I find out that they don't take the type of credit card I carry.
That is fine... just like Bald Bull's barber at Mike Tyson's Punch Out!, I don't know when to quit.

This time, instead of logging with my usual Origin account, I create a second one, input all the data, input the same credit card number I always use and... it goes through!
Yay! I finally have the much sought after code and open my third account! All is fun and games now.
But I must inquire... did EA had to make it THAT hard for me to give my money to them?
Really, this was an odyssey. It took me two hours to get the bloody code!
