Race Change Issues

I am having issues turning into a human using a race change token. From gargoyle it gave me the option of elf or human. I chose human. I kept getting the message "you may try this again later". So I tried turning into an elf an voila, it let me! I then tried to change from elf to human. I still got the same message "you may try this again later". So here I am, a race change token down, and still can't figure out how to get back to human.

Am I missing something here or is they system bugged?

Never used the token on it so I am not sure... but if you are an elf - you could always do the quest to turn Human... it doesn't take too long to do.

I know that there is a quest, its more about the fact I bought the tokens, and it wont work, and i have wasted one now, and still cant figure out why it wont work.
