Interesting...

I play a PVM Mystic-Mage-Spellweaver and since I run with Protection on 24/7, I've never felt the need for the ubiquitous 2/6 combo. But spamming WoD with 4/6 would certainly increase my damage output toward the end.

Always thought the 2/6 applied. I run a sw/mage/tamer, went and tested essence with 2/6 and 4/6. I could tell no difference at all in the duration it took the spell to hit. Maybe my perception of time is off. *shrugs*

It's definitely FC 4. Unless you use mage spell protection you should definitely notice the difference when you WOD. Unless they changed something when they did the SDI publish.

Nah, never run pro. Have not tested it with WOD yet only with essence of wind. Will have to try the WOD here soon tho. Kinda hoping 4/6 makes no difference, just got that chars suit finished and don't wanna rebuild it lol

So if I have taming/lore/magery/spirit speak/spellweaving and have 4/6 casting, I will cast WOD with the 4/6?
I thought you could only have two skill groups for casting and be at the 4/6 mark.

mysticism cap is 2 faster casting 6 faster cast recovery regardless of how high or low your magery is (if you have magery at all).
