A new client for the TC patches.........

There are lots of veteran players out there, who aren't currently playing/paying.

Could you make the TC shard free to play during the test cycles of new patches?

Logging in under the free to play option, would only give you access to the TC shard(s), and wouldn't count towards your in game age, and it wouldn't keep houses from going into the IDOC cycle.

Just a way to get lots of people to try out the new patches, test them out and give feed back, This would get a lot of bodies on to test to try things out, and wiould give the DEV's a wider understanding of what they are trying to push to production shards.

Well, that is a valid argument. I did pay, but now I don't. If I have a bug to play UO, I go to the free shards......., It sounds like some folks are worried about people leaving after the next patch, and the patch keeping people from staying if they're new. I agree that the non-committed might influence things in the wrong direction. We see that all the time in politics. Anywho, just was wondering what the people of Stratics thought. Thanks for the input!

A perma RTB on test wouldn't be a terrible idea...would be a good place to get free sharers playing and maybe pick up the itch to play again on their worked accounts on prodo shards..and for people saying that their input doesn't matter unless they pay..guess what we pay and our input makes little to no impact that changes nothing..

Don't forget test is deleted frequently it would either A get people back into crafting and suit building and learning the new systems..and maybe back to paying I'm not sure what the downfall is honestly can someone give me some CONS?

Lets just say chat is not the nicest place on TC and I really do not want to hear a bunch of free sharders telling us about thier shard or trash talking UO. As far as Stratics goes most people who no longer play come here to learn about UO so we really don't need a bunch of free sharders here telling us how our UO should be run or trashing our UO. Just my $.02
