WARNING - House Customization Bug

Take down any Character Statues in your house before you customize or you will find yourself with a Character Statue Base with no statue under your house sign with no way to retrieve it.

I've called a GM even though I understand that is pointless.

I've called a GM even though I understand that is pointless.

Leave the base standing, and a GM should be able to finish removing it and give you a new statue maker. If you have already removed the base then you have no proof of it have being there and a GM would then in fact be helpless.

I have taken screenshots and cannot move the base at all so it will likely remain. I don't have 47 hours to wait for a GM. Will the base decay overnight do you think?

It shouldn't decay. It should just remain broken like that.

Hmm hmm hmm - these Customizations Bugs are terrible. I decided not to customize in December and I am still waiting for the "GO!" from the Devs, that all those bugs are deleted. I really want to change something in my house - but I don´t dare to do it...

Seems these statues are also not redeeding if an IDOC goes down. I still miss any confirmation, as well what happens to mannequins and their stuff, if they are in an decaying IDOC.
Do these redeed or still poof?

I was able to redeed them myself when this happened to me.

Good news for me this morning.

The statue base had a statue on it this morning but I still could not access it so I repaged a GM and one came within 10 minutes.

He was able to move it so that I could redeed it. I believe there is only GM support during the day now.

Becareful Customizing your home. There are still issues.

not sure if this helps but perhaps using ctrl shift and then clickint the statue will allow access to redeeding?

I did try that in vain. I found no way to access it until the GM came and moved it but thank you for the suggestion.

Customize your home again... It acutally popped into a deed form outside my house, Unlocked... Put A wall up where the statue base is or something on top of it.

This may be true. Yesterday at around 2:30 a.m. EST a group of us had to page. We got an email response this morning around 8:30 a.m. stating that they would investigate our page.

Please add to the BUG list that it is extremely unwise to use the deeds like Broken Bookcase, Elven chest of drawers or Boiling Cauldren for actual storage because if you go into customization it could go into decay. I lost everything in a Boiling Cauldren container over night that was set to Owner only. It was fine for weeks until I customized.

Avoid using anything that reverts into a barrel.
