Help! Strange Issue With Chat!

I just paged for a GM but no telling how long that will take. Here is my issue. I cannot talk in chat, Guild Chat or Alliance Chat with any characters on my account. I can also not change the color of my text. It has changed to a light greenish color.

I have tried logging out an in, leaving chat and reentering it. I have tried restarting UO. I have tried rebooting my computer. I have tried setting all my settings to default in the options menu. Nothing seems to work. How did my whole account get broken? Any help would be quite... well.... Helpful!

Forgot to mention when I use the "," or "/" or "SHIFT+|" the words for chat, alliance chat, etc show as black text but nothing happens when i type and hit enter. Also, I cannot see anything from chat on my screen at all.

I dunno if your using the EC or not but I had something similar happen. Nothing worked until I deleted the char profile for that char in program files. Ya lose all your macro`s and stuff but it rebuilds everything for that char. Fixed it for me.

Oops, "any chars".... can always wipe one first and see if it works. Would suck to hafta do em all but beats the heck out of re-downloading and installing/patching.

Using 2D. But like I said it is affecting all my characters on this acct.

I've had this happen and it can be fixed.. I just gotta remember how I did it.

Figured it out. Have to change the text color in a different spot in the options menu. Not sure how it changed. I got it back to normal now.

It has happened to me several times. I am not convinced it is anything we did, but rather something that just randomly happens.

No, it isn't that one. It is the one on the right hand side that looks like an eyeball. You have to scroll down to see the text color options.
