soulstone grave yard

hi just notised the tower that is called soul stone grave yard that has the 2 uo banners outside is greatly dont know if its a bit of history that needs saving

This is the ORIGINAL europa soulstone graveyard idea .....would be a shame to have them all lost......its something i started why back in the day...on luna road... eventually handing it over the reins to padraic of the haven [hlp] guild.....- due to the monthly cost of running it!!!...alas i aint seen padraic for years.....and i have no control over it now......would be great if the EMs maybe set up a specaill house somewere so all the stones could be saved and possobly handed back to old players on there return.....also new idocers could drop the stones they find into the EM run building.....ive mentioned it to Emile......not sure if he can help to be fair...but....it s a great idea not costing any player 10 quid a week to run!!!

Hi there! If this is on Atlantic and you happen to save the soulstones, you can bring them to Goodman's Rune Library in Zento or the GRL Portal mailboxes across the street to join the soulstone graveyard we have going for Altantic.

the person that owns them can click on them, and they will be the only ones who can use them. Then all that has to be done is hand them over.

This would never happen. Even if the EM's did implement your idea, the devs have already talked about creating a turn in system that allows players to turn in x amount of non-account soulstones for 1 new account bound soulstone. If the devs actually finish and implement this im afraid very few people would give old ones to a museum.

I disagree. Many soulstones are going to waste and never being redeemed. What % are actually redeemed?

If people actually valued their soulstones they wouldn't leave them behind, and more to the point if they had half a brain they'd keep them in the bank.

Guess the olde days of team community spirit is further away ....yet again....people see pixel greed over making just one player returning very very happy [whatever] still say its a backward step...a really woefull idea indeed....

We had over 1000 in the soulstone graveyard...and yes around a dozen people did reclaim lost stones.....to say they were very happy is a under stayement ..they were over the moon!!.....oh well.... looks like peeps are gonna get offered a ''betrayal'' soulstone for every 100 or 200 they turn in....[whatever]

Well the ones i have are from old school PvPers who have said many many times their not comming back, but in the hope that one day they would change their mind I kept some of the soul stones from their houses when they fell.

4 years on i still have them, so its better to be able to put them to a use than just toss them away.

As you can see from my post it wasn't my idea, I was just refrencing something from the Devs. I guess next time I will have to dig through the dev's posts to include it with mine. As for hoarding other peoples stones, if I happen to see someone that has the same name as a stone i have I always give them the chance to see if its there's and if it is i give it back (unless it is from a rival guild in which case they can buy it back).
