I had a asian player tell me "Go home, Atlantic guy not welcome" seriously best thing I have ever heard... since I don't play on Atlantic, that comment made my day.

Since I have never bought anything at the levels of gold some of the items are going for can one of the more experienced players tell me how you would even begin to buy something worth 1.5 billion gold?

How did people transfer 1,500 million gold checks from one server to that server?

I am guessing if you have that much gold you'd have it locked down in a house and then give the house to a trusted broker to make the exchange.

And, if you have an item worth 1.5 billion gold why in heck would you even sell it? What are you planning on buying with all that gold? It just seems wacky..

I found a teleporter there - if you run out of luna bank to the west side, there is a house on the right side that has a teleporter to the festival..

you know what someone needs to make.
a all encompassing UO item book.

i was thinking of that when i saw one of the pure silver colored old viking swords that you use to be able to get from Kaldun when you disarmed the zealot guys. some fella had listed it as something else - probably not knowing better.
and that made me think that someone years ago probably should have started a mother of all UO encyclopedia with everything in it.
speaking as a person who was looking to name all the colored easter baskets from 2010 and couldnt get 2 of them labeled i know how fast people forget stuff and stuff from history gets lost in the ether forever.

Well I can tell you that a transfer token will transfer 900 items, so a couple transfers would do it easily. However, what is most likely is folks transferred a bunch of stuff to sell and gold made up the space that was left. Once on the shard the gold is easily stored on a couple vendors until needed. Usually folks sell something to buy something else. People change what they collect and museums change themes.
