It's not just Catskills, and it's definitely UO hon.Maybe its the internets?
Weather related?
Your isp provider?
Could it be a bad hop?
Anybody run uotrace yet?
I was experiencing a little lag in GW2 earlier but it's gone now.
Could be a million things atm.
I was experiencing lag on GW2 tonight. I say about 30 minutes total. Which is odd. I am running TS, GW2, guild page, and twitter at the same time like I always do and it's really rare for me to lag. So this 30 minutes of constant lag and some guild mates I was running with was also experiencing. We all just figured it was the area so 2 went to different lands in the game and had the same issue testing it out. It's not just Catskills, and it's definitely UO hon.
I play most mornings on Cats and can confirm that lag freezes have been occurring in the morning this past week. I don't know if they are 'worse' at night (yesterday evening was quite disrupting), but they are certainly 'most annoying' during level 4 of a champ spawnSomeone said it seems worse at night. I can't comment on that because I rarely play during the day. I will say I logged on for a few minutes tonight and there were lag spikes that lasted a full minute (we actually thought the shard might have crashed). It's effecting everyone because when you're PvPing you can tell when it's only you (ie: you wake up dead)
It's been going on for some time, and it's on every shard I've played on lately.
I suspect it's more likely to be related to the apparent moving of servers to IP addresses that indicate they are now part of the Amazon 'cloud services'.Could the issue be related to all the mass IDOC's that are happening on all shards?
You and me both brother.I thought it was just me, on Pac. I have had a few lag spikes so bad, I "unfroze" and was instantly dead.
The last thing we need is more empty areas. Most of us left know that we're not getting a ton of expansions
