Triple Steal

Before heading to work this morning, I decided to make a run through Exodus Dungeon.

While there, I made a triple steal off of an Exodus Zealot.

I made my 1st steal, but only recieved the message that I attempted to steal something, but did not receive the "you have successfully stolen an item" message. However, I clearly saw an Exodus Summoning Altar scroll appear in my backpack.

Given the strange lack of message, I tried to steal again from the same zealot...same message pattern, and another scroll.

Third steal attempt, nabbed me some gold, but I did receive the successful steal message, aftere which the 4th attempt informed me that the target had already been stolen from....like normally happens.

Anyone else have this happen?

I've seen the message and swore I was able to steal two different times from the same target, but it doesn't happen often. but I guess this is confirmation it can happen =]

Had it happen yesterday on Lake Austin. I got a corruption, second steal was a robe, third steal was gold. I did notice each time it said "you attempt to steal something", but it wasn't followed by the "you successfully steal" or whatever that message happens to be. Each time after the "attempt to steal", an item popped into my backpack, but it let me steal from him again. Pretty cool.

I've had it happen to me on Legends yesterday.
Same behavior that was describe. Got the message saying "you attempt to steal something" without the "you successfully steal" message following, but an item or gold spawned in my backpack.

I've had the attempt message, a successful steal, but no second chance. Unless I just missed it. Hm. I'll have to go back there. Best I've gotten so far is 2 taint, but I'll go back with max steal this time and see what happens. Was using like 109 stealing previously.

Nothing, its still here, just like a lot of different playstyles are still around.

Has happened to me 2 times this morning. 3rd attempt each time results in the Successful Steal message. Though I wasn't lucky enough to get keys from it, just gems and gold. (Chessie for me, too)
