Devs, please help the Unicorn

I know it's not as powerful as currently more popular pets, but it was beautiful once... before the CC graphic was changed. Please, please, can you make it beautiful again?

It went from one of the most beautiful creatures in the game to the mess they are now, I rode it once after the change and never again. Really was a shame about those mounts. It's funny but that's the only thing that stayed bugging me after all these years, I really wish they'd change them back.

Do you mean the change many years ago, where it was changed from a white (but horn-less) horse to looking like a unicorn as conventionally defined?

Or was there another change I'm not thinking of?

If the issue is looks, then isn't the solution to give us some kind of access to horses of other colors. Rare white horses and rare black horses of no special ability save their looks. (Other than the "exploit made legal then fixed" black horses.) (Pet dyes are also an option, one the team has mentioned in the not-too-distant past if memory serves?)

If the issue is usability, then I think most will agree that the older pets need a revamp of some kind. They may have their uses but they have at best become niche markets as they have not kept evolutionary pace with the dangers of the world.

I for one would be somewhat leery of making a unicorn look less like a unicorn.

Granted as a CC (then 2d) player I would have been perfectly fine with keeping the older graphic (generally speaking I'm about content not looks and thus don't care much if ALL new content from here on is hacked into the CC by using placeholder graphics) but once they have already changed it (in essence added the Third Dawn graphic to 2d) why change it back?

I think if they hadn't done such a poor job of the updated version, it wouldn't have been such a sticking point for me (and thinking about what you said, you're right, I had a soft spot for the white 'horse' look, not the fact it was a 'unicorn' heh).

They did change back the sheep graphic a few months ago and I'm glad because the new one just didn't look 'right' in the CC. They said it was an error in the first place though. I'm just an old stick in the mud hehe, it doesn't really matter does it and I have no idea why it still bugs me after all the years *chuckle* and I even lost my main character during the whole Publish16 thing and I'm totally over that now .

When they gave it a horn, they also changed it from a truly beautiful creature to one that appears to be suffering from Anorexia.

I completely agree, I LOVED my healthy looking white unicorn! Now it looks sickly with a gray/bluish color. The addition of the horn was great, but in my opinion, it lost it's majestic look.

I know many people that agree with you on this. To me and some friends, it now looks like riding a large chicken/rooster. My husband hasn't used his for a very long time now.

I believe so... if my memory is at all accurate, that is how it looked before they added the horn.
