Hey Ducan.
Definitely count me, I'll ICQ you later or you can just sent me one at ICQ # 8249606, and thanks for taking the reins on this one. I've run a few guilds in my time, and was about to volunteer to start up this one, but I honestly don't think I have the time to do a proper job of running one full-time, though I'll certainly be glad to help in anyway I can. Like you I'm not rich, and don't have all the latest greatest equipment, but have crafters, tamers, and all the rest. If we get players that need better suits, I'm sure we can go on some hunts to gather up items and ingredients to help them out.
One possible suggestion, is that in addition to creating a guild, you could create a guild alliance. I think a lot of players are in the same boat right now, where they're essentially in an old guild by themselves but they might not like the idea of giving up the guild completely (defunct though it may be). This way players could join the formal guild you're starting, or join the alliance. This might also appeal to small inactive guilds that have a few members. Just a thought, up to you, since you're the Guild Leader..."all hail Ducan." And yes I've heard your name, not sure where, but I've probably seen you in game and look forward to hunting with you and the others.
We might need to define the basics of the guild pretty early on to avoid problems down the road. For example, is this open to anyone and everyone, or are we going to try and define a playstyle (easy going, uber, a mix, are we going to accept war invitations from other guilds (would suggest not as this opens a big can of worms). If this takes off is everyone going to be immediately guilded or will there be a trial period...etc etc.
