its already done 1 cycle to IDOC then went OSI.
now its on its 2nd IDOC cycle, which from what some people say is where the venders that blocked the first one will be eaten.
which may very well be true since the venders all disappeared here a hour ago.
i dont think ive seen this many people in game..... for years!

I took a walk through earlier just to see all the interesting items that player had collected and was indeed impressed, however tram IDOCs are not my idea of fun. Most of the time IDOCs in general are rarely worth the waiting for this player. I always find myself asking, "Do I really need all this extra stuff?", the answer is almost always no.
Regardless I wish all participating the best of luck and hopefully the time you spent is rewarded in some tangible way. From this pvper to all you collector's, a little extra luck as well.
Edit: At this rate, with its now high population, put me down for 5 imaginary internet monopoly dollars on it crashing.

i just went there at server up. the house is open to the public but is inaccessable. you cannot even get on the steps. its sorta funny cause there is left over tamed horses and hordeminions roaming around inside. structure is slightly worn again. someone is suggesting the reason this was done was to combat against scriptors but i dont know if thats true.
Well with the house inaccessible and the house's contents invisible, it is more difficult for scripters to spam "Pick up this item" over and over until the house falls. But not sure if any GM made it this way intentionally. Was pretty sad though to see so many players out and about, only to have them all disappointed.

It would also appear I lost the bet, so anyone that bet correctly can collect the 5 imaginary internet monopoly dollars from me. At least I didn't bet any souls... or pocket lint. (Pocket lint keeps your pockets from getting lonely and can be used to start an impromptu fire if needed! Very valuable stuff.)

I'm not an idocer, but my logic tells me.
If the vendors are gone and it still hasn't fallen then something else is keeping it up
Which quite possibly means it needs to be manually removed - along with whatever that something is.
I have no proof, no knowledge, just a nasty suspicion, that some of those uber rares that folk have their eyes on may not be legit and will go 'poof' along with the house - causing much gnashing of teeth, when the team get back from the Christmas break.
Just logged on at the Idoc and it's poof! Another house has already been placed . Like Petra I'm not an idocer, have never even seen one fall, so wasn't really staking it out just popped on once in awhile out of curiosity. So I'm not sure what happened ,did it collapse and everyone shared in the rares, or as Petra thought was it just removed? If anyone was there I'd be curious to know. Thanks

From what I understand (wasn't there because some people still work for a living) a new house was placed within seconds of the collapse. The only way I know of that it happens that way is the house was dropped manually by a GM or DEV. IMO I think it is complete BS to do it that way, particularly in the middle of the day. I know not everyone works the same schedules, but every shard has a prime time for a reason... That is when most people have the ability to play. The decay timer on the house sign is there to let those who are watching have an idea when it will collapse. If you ask me a house should never collapse or be dropped without the house sign going through the decay cycle completely... no matter how many times it has to cycle through.

House was fairly worn and then went poof, new house went up almost instantly. Stuff was taken left and right by hidden people (scripters).
Only way for this to happen is GMs dropping the house manually. I think GM logs need to be reviewed, as this smells like corrupt GMs favoring their goldseller and scripter friends.

This is NOT true. I have been to plenty of IDOCs that drop after going OSI owned/Demo Pending and the placement timer is still in effect.
This house was changed from Demo Pending to just owned by OSI several days ago. The only way a change like this occurs is for a GM or Dev member to actually intervene with the house ownership. Subesquent to that, the only way for the house to fall for a Dev or GM to come and drop the house manually. This was explained ingame at a previous IDOC by Mesanna herself ( I am assuming she actually understood what she was talking about)
When this happens the game does not see an actually decay... it is treated no differently than if you or I drop our house with all the contents inside. This makes the plot immediantly available for placement.
I heard that Mesanna was the one that dropped the GL house. I heard that from several different people.
I would say that is by far the most likely scenario... but it is a slap in the face to all those who participate in IDOCs to have a house interfered with and manually dropped before the decay cycle indicates such. By all rights the house should have fallen sometime tomorrow early afternoon when the vendors in the house sign were moved into the moving crate.

There were no vendors. Houses with rares are often held by "OSI" to go through and check and remove dupes etc. Which are then manually dropped.
Edited to add: You use to be able to page a GM to drop these if you got lucky to get the right GM. Most would give you the canned response.

I do not recall seeing those there but what I posted before is still true. I'm not sure what your point is.
If that s true it is complete BS that she would do that. I really hope it is not the case. What a way to screw the people who actually pay attention to idocs and have a idea when it was supposed to fall. Unless of course you fall into the inner circle.
It really is BS that it did not go full cycle i logged in this am and it was fairly. From last night to today the same people were logged in standing in that house. Someone knew something. I dont see Mesanna dropping it just cause...WTEVA

thats why ive said there should be a timer so fair shot to all,a count down timer,all the rules are twisted and not explained to everyone,it says on uoguide that it takes 9 days after the vendors go to the sign,it hasnt been 9 days,someones buddy got that loot...
My point is you are putting false info based on faulty observation and conjecture out there confusing people.
Dev do have access to the game works via home.... I have no doubt Mesanna made it poof to stop the load on the servers.....
Mesanna is the ONLY person that can drop OSI houses, she told me via PM a while back, and YES you are free to place straight away as there is no timer (and abuse the game mechanics via 3rd party sites)
