No I dont think so, I think I remember that I could vet my pets while staying hidden.
The change now is highly annoying ...

i remember applying the bandaid on the pet and than hide woulnt reveal me at gm hiding and 90 stealth....

I think that's right. I seem to remember that as well... I think. It was a long long long time ago by any means, and that is the way it should be. Healing/vetting while hidden would be super over powered.

It has revealed for as long as I can recall...

Never been able to hide and heal.

Yup, I have it ingrained, to hit the Aid button, then the hide macro.

I have always as a roleplayer used bandages to reveal my stealther from hiding so i didn't have to do anything visual or weird like type a period. Its been this way for thousands of years

It has always revealed you. You have to start the bandage before you hide when making a macro.

definitely before that cu sidhe talisman came out, because i know fore sure i tested that with that talisman.

I'll never forget one day when I a noob and I ran away after applying bandage then hid, but the sound of the bandage finishing gave away my location. ROFL...

Yeah, since 1999, at the least, since I've played, applying a bandage always reveals you.
