Lockpick training after the publish

Hi,

I have been trying to train lockpicking and can not even get a Guaranteed Gain since the publish. I trained a character before the publish and got regular gains to 95. This character is at 90 and nothing is working. The Crystal Ball says Very Easy, but I fail a lot so I should be getting gains. The boxes were made by my GM Tinker with GM Carpentry, so I know they are correct. I'm at 470 skill total and the arrow on Lockpicking is pointing up. I should be able to train with these locked boxes in my backpack and I have also locked them down, but still no gains. Either something has changed, or I'm totaly missing a key point in this training. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try Dungeon chests or those in Vesper bank. I think after 95 it was impossible to gain on GM chests, but it has been a long time ago I trained my lockpickers.

Or try miasma chests.
I am at 98 and I always get a GGS per day out of those.

Just GM'd one using the satyr trick in the Weald.

still, historically you have been able to get to 95 off of GM tinked boxes.
so there must be a change we dont know about.

did maybe the anti macro code get put back on?

I dont think so Poo. I went from 92.1 to 95.0 yesterday, and then go discoed and did the satyr thing last night and today. All seemed normal to me. It could be an exceptionally bad role of the RNG. I had my character at less than 300 total skillpoints as well, so my GGS' may have been coming faster. *shrugs*

I have never been to the new Despise. Exactly how do you get discorded there?

I don't think it is the anti macro code. I switched my 90 lockpicking onto a new character with zero skill and was finally able to get to 91 after hours of grinding. It does seem slower than the lockpicking I worked up before the publish though. I also worked music from zero to GM yesterday and it took me twice as long as when I did it before the publish.

music skill only gains fast on golems now.
