..I'm guessing that's what most of you will think, when I tell you what I discovered today. Everytime I've shopped at a players vendor I would walk through, looking and clicking and looking and clicking etc.. Finally, with help, I learned that all I had to do is single click on the house sign and all the vendors pop up. Yea I know, duh, but for me wow, lol. Wonder how many other little things, like this, are out there? Anyway, consider this a psa for anyone else that may have been oblivious.

I know exactly how you feel Dragonater.... I was actually annoyed for the best part of 14 years, before I finally asked here how to get rid of this thing that kept getting in the way:

UO reminds me of some software that I've used for years (Office suite, Adobe Premiere, etc.) and didn't realize some odd function even existed until I stumbled onto it.... One of the best things about UO is that - if you try, you can find something you hadn't seen or tried before on an almost daily basis... A true testiment to a really great game...

Just whatever you do DON'T be a rude shopper and stand ON the vendors when you say Vendor Look. Nothing more annoying that having someone blocking a vendor when your trying to shop.

I personally like the old fashioned way of clicking each and every vendor one by one.

Unfortunately vendor owners are often stupid and instead of putting an accurate description of what the vendor contains in the designated space they just put "LOOK HERE", "CHEAP", "X Vendors" or any variant thereof. -.-

Or shop not yet named. I usually end up just checking the individual vendors rather than the missing (or misleading) descriptions provided via the house signs.

I don't, I shop by house sign, and if you don't name your shop, ie 'shop not yet named' I don't even look. You can't be bothered to name your shop, I generally can't be bothered to shop with you.

Of the two types of naming on the vendor, the 'shop name' is much more important than the 'vendor name' for reasons that I won't go into. It is always good to do both, and why people fail to take advantage of the 'shop name' and leave it blank is beyond me, it is an added 20 odd characters to describe your goods, even if you just repeat what you put up as the 'vendor name' it is more advantages than just leaving it blank.

I hate vendors that just put all their crap in unlabeled bags. I open it up and it's like OMG if you aren't going to take the time to try to sell me something I'm not going to take the time to click open 400 bags of stuff... I want to be able to open a vendors pack and just see stuff.

Labled bags or display item next to the bag(I like display item as we speak many languages on my shard) And NEVER bags in bags!

Good point startle. At first I was really ticked off that I'd been in this game (off and on) since 99' and didn't know about this simple feature. But then, as you did, I realized it's a pretty amazing thing to be playing a game this long and you can still discover new old things. That says something. Btw, it also took me a long time before I knew what the heck that annoying button thing was, lol.
