windows 7 ,game screen is super tiny

i recently upgraded one of my imacs to windows 7, after installing UO the game comes up and no matter what resolution or setting i use the game window is like 1/3 of the screen, i use XP on another imac in full screen mode and it fills the screen just fine. ive tried compatibility modes no luck
any solutions?

Which client? The 2d client maxes at an 800x600 game window size which may be quite a bit smaller than the native resolution you're using. The EC can have the gameplay window stretched to any resolution setting manually by clicking and dragging the gem in the lower right corner of the gameplay window.

im using classic, im not a fan of the EC, although ive tried it, not for me. ive run the classic client on my old imac (20 inch screen) just fine, my newer one is a 21.5 and it wont budge from the tiny game window

Yeah your stuck with that tiny window unfortunately. You could drop the resolution of the monitor down a bit to get it larger.

If it's a 27 inch iMac the resolution is 2560x1440 so no wonder 800x600 is tiny on it.

I have windows 7 myself and do the same thing, running two HP w2207 screens. I have to drop the resolution down to 1440x900 to have a game screen big enough to SEE the little items in UO.

Lol you wana see how im polaying UO at. Im on a notebook with a 11" screen, the game windor 4x6" [the size of your everage post card] lol my char is just under 15mm tall!!! Makes fighting fun at the spam on my screen liturally takes up half the game window!!!

You get the hang of it. It's actually far better like that IMO. Can fit 3 full play areas on one monitor, with enough black for map, backpacks etc. Leaving my second screen free for whatever. Though I only have two accounts, so can't make full use of it.

Haha iv kinda done that before had a broken screen so could only see the top left corner but knew my macros and could still tell were i was

This is serious addiction... We need UO rehab in the next booster

Else we'll be playing it on out sat nav while driving to work then our phone in the office

Not necessarily a windows 7 problem, but more of a resolution problem. At least I think that is the real problem.
