What do you collect?

After visiting a house recently that has a really fantastic collection of Bells. It got me thinking about all the different things there are to collect. Personally, I mean to have the best collection of Pitchforks in the game and one day when I'm too drunk to care, I might even tell you why heh.

So what do you collect? Or even collect without thinking it (which is part of what the whole Pitchfork thing is about).

P.S.It's totally worth a visit to that house I mentioned too, if ya wanna visit it's just south (coupla screens maybe) of the Ter Mur moongate on Siege and it belongs to Holden Caulfield. It really is pretty to look at, I just wish it had the snow in Classic Client there it would look amazing at night heh.

P.P.S. If anyone knows what causes that occasional 'bleed' effect thing that happens when the weather gets 'dragged' across server lines with you and then it stays with you for ages (classic client), let me know how 'cause I wanna do it and visit that house lol.

old square holiday Gift Boxes [including the 10th anni, red velvet & april 1st ones, but mostly just the regular "Gift Boxes"]. i have a bunch of the rare "neon" ones, but mostly i collect the regular ones. i have over 1,000 currently [1,061 to be exact...]. they're harder to find now that spring cleaning caused so many to get tossed. i started collecting them 2 years ago, though, so was able to get quite a few prior to spring cleaning. if there's ever a really awesome spring cleaning reward at least i have the ability to cash in my collection for a whooooooole lot of points
i also collect neon runebooks. especially ones with rarer/one of a kind hues.
PS - i stumbled upon that amazing collection of bells on seige in ter mur yesterday afternoon and was blown away! beautifully arranged impressive collection!

I've began trying to assemble the entire collection of Assassin Edge weapons very recently, and a few weeks ago I pulled the Assassin Edge pitchfork. It made me laugh and your post made me think of it again for another chuckle.

Sadly I must admit I'm an incurable pack rat... but ask anyone who knows me what I collect and the first thing they will talk about is Willa's Boots. I have a HUGE collection of AoS boots. I just love them! Can't have too many. They are all in a rainbow pattern on the third floor balcony of my Theatre.

I also collect anything that might be "drowish" in nature. Spiders and such... plus I collect 100% weapons. I have 100's of them. I'm always working on getting a complete set of 100% weapons. Soon as I get close to my goal the dev's come out with a new race or something and add another 50 or so weapons I have to collect. I guess I really like the colors.

The rest of the stuff I just horde.

I collect Books... but I don't really do a good job of it. I still don't have a full set of black or white ter mur quest books. I also collect ratman statues, but again, I only have like 10. Oh! and Garbage. Only in UO is a pile of garbage a super rare item.

As for Holdens bell house, its crazy stuff. The man is a bell collecting fool.

Wow, that is quite a lot of space taken up..... if I do not recall wrong, a full set is made out by 6 jewels x 9 possible gems (or the other way around...) which makes a full set total 54 items. If you have multiple sets that makes it up for hundreds and hundreds of gemmed jewels. Nice.

I started collecting the Ter Mur books, had a nice collection, but unlocked the shelf they was on and forgot to relock it while moving them around. Sooo starting all over again. I collect anything though (almost) as sets.
The snow globes I been working on for 8 years and try not to spend to much on the ones I am missing ( i think 2 now)
The bells I had a set of colors but will look into more of it and see if I want to add.
A friend and I went out and collected every tribal mask color there is aswell one day. (30 of them)
I collect the named booze from the pirate ships.

Have a set of the Juka Bows also.
Started a statue collection of one of every statue I can get my hands on which is alot. (I leave them off though!)
I think that is it, I am missing a castle for the mini house collection.

since my play time in game can vary drastically depending on work, i always needed something to keep me buisy while i waited for my guild mates to get on.
sooooooooo i started collecting stuff.
to date i collect snowglobes (full sets on sonoma and GL)
all in game armour sets (all sets but 1)
music box gears (2 full sets sonoma and atl)
easter baskets, the coloured ones.
and statues (vet reward plus in game ones, to date i have all except the 13th year vet one that was just released)
and robes/cloak's, i dont know how this came about, but i have a vast collection of those.
oh and the old general invasion armour, the coloured stuff.

but my all time, must have, fetish collection item is bone armour.

and i know how this started.... its from wearing nothing but bone armour for like the first 3 years i played uo cause i use to farm the yew cemetery back in 97.
i think i have some pics back in storage somewhere.... sec ill go look (im such a visual person!)

I have a stash of about 15k Valorite ingots I've saved up since before the random resource change (With notably fewer added after the fact - Should have taken advantage of the static spawns when they were there instead of stripmining.. C'est la vie..). Hundreds of gems from mining, a hundred or more of each of the ML gems, everything you can get from lumberjacking, and I was considering starting to save up resources and items collected from fishing (Nets, White Pearls, MIB's, etc.). Leather from harvesting dragons before they added greaters which whoop my butt.. Tons of PoF and combined lower tiered runic hammers, and smithing skill scrolls from BOD's.

I'm a crafter who just can't seem to be bothered with crafting anything, because I don't have the time to rebuild my stockpile... Don't want to part with my resources! As such, my combat characters are horribly under-equipped, wearing plate with horrid stats..

Poo do you have a list of the statues? I know someone who is trying to get them all, and a "checklist" would be a HUGE help.

Heh, you've just made me realise I collect 'of exceptional quality' too, one of my most prized posessions is a straw hat my original miner/tailor from Europa made herself just before they changed the labelling. I've even bought a few of my benches from your shop. I've always liked your shop .

Since I let my house fall a few years ago wall: again), I'm slowly collecting some of the rares that meant the most to me. SO much thanks to an earlier mentioned person who let go of one of his snowglobes that I most wanted to replace. But aside from looking for those long forgotten items, I collect feathered hats. When I find one on a creature, I get all excited. It doesn't matter if it has good stats or not, the hat goes in a display case. Or my wardrobe chest. I'm thinking I'm going to have to create shelving for the walls to continue my collection! They are always just that plain grayish white color when you find them, but I dye them and then put them on display. And of course Rhiannon wears them 24/7 and has colored one to match her outfits.

I have some of those as well, but I'm particular about the crafter names so most of mine are ones without crafter names.
