Had my thief down there also. Nothing but gold except gems from the gargs. Maybe it is the 118.7 steaaling. This character is just curse. Wont gain any more stats above the 135 total. Once I get the 120 stelth and stealing will delete and restart this character. 45 STR is no way to live.
From the gargs? what gargs? Only the Zealots give keys
Do you have snooping?
I have a thief with no snooping, she only steals gold from zealots and i got a thief with GM snooping skill and she steals more then just gold alone.

Snooping is not GM. Hard to get excited about training a character that has locked stats. Maybe if I ever find time to clean the character up with a delete before the next thief excitement.

I guess you've tried paging a GM about those stats?
It is a 7th slot character I started at the 7th release. So been a while and string of canned links. The one time a GM went live they came up with a delete and sorry about the PS loss. Oh and you are being warned about the length of your pet's name so change it. GM was a KR newb and need edgeamahcating. It is OK. State of my UO time this character is like a "check engine " light. I'll get to it when I have time or care. Priority now is house clean/swapping to shut down an account. Rather have that extra $10 for throwing at the lotto. Not bitter shut down. Account is crafter BOD runner account. Wanted to earn an honest Val Hammer. Update and bamm first val earned off a 20x Gold Plate large then came bribery. Bribery is the best gold sink they ever came up with. Five years ago before imbuing and reforging.
True about the RNG. All the hype about barding for keys. 1 in over an hour. Funny my weaker killer that can't even do a few the spawn has better drop rate. Disco tamer with pack of Frenzy. I see they cleaned up the slow crawl through the lava so will return with the pack and leave the Lords and Juggy alone. I just liked the thief ideal of killing two birds with one stone. Key drops and imbuer gets some game time besides unraveling.
