When I tested them, there wasn't a measurable impact on loading speed. However, one user has stated that loading speed is slower since the snowflakes. See: How do I turn OFF snowflakes?. I've lowered the number of snowflakes from 35 to 20 and disabled them for the [XenCera] Scroll style, in case anyone wants an alternate theme. If anyone else has site-related support questions, please post them in the appropriate forum (not UHall).

Must be something I can't see either with the theme I use or my lovely Firefox with no script and adblock.

You may turn them off by turning off JavaScript (like MalagAste has done with script blocker). I've tested the speed and used it on a smart phone. Things look ok to me.

I've duplicated the UO Classic theme, but without snow. The theme is called "Default-UOClassic_No_Snow." It may now be selected normally.

Can you make it so I can get a blizzard, and the snowflakes gather on the "ground" at the bottom of my screen, and then I can turn my mouse into a snowblower and a get to clear my screen?

Need to get some practice in before I get hit IRL.

We left them off for that particular one, as some folks wanted them off. Sorry. All the other themes have them.
