When it was being beta-tested the Global Chat system had two "General" channels: General-Trammel and General-Felucca. The former was the default channel. When PvP smack-talking started within it, it could easily be pointed out that one was smack talking in the Trammel channel, and most smackers would then go to the General-Felucca channel. While this was not an assured, let alone a mandated, result, it was surprisingly reliable.
Now, however, inexplicably there is only one "General" channel, and PvP smack-talking tends to, despite the small number of people who PvP, crowd out other uses of the channel. There is no ability to say "this is a Trammel-specific channel" because it isn't Trammel-specific. This hurts Trammel because it forces the great bulk of players who have no interest in Felucca to experience one of its worst aspect, and hurts Felucca for the same reason.
It cannot possibly be the case that such was an intended result. I therefore have to assume it is a bug or, at minimum, a bug-like oversight.
